Window Balance

Thanks for posting. These old rod balances aren't made any longer, but they can be replaced by our Series 770 Channel Balance. First, you want to get an exact measurement of the length. To be safe, I advise procuring an undamaged version of the rod balance, perhaps from an identical window in the house, to get the length confirmed. Next, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the window sash. You can use that exact weight to choose the stamp option you'll need to select for your replacement balance. The stamp option designates the weight range the balance is calibrate to support. A chart on each Series 770 balance page will tell you the weight range of what stamp option your sash's weight falls into. Let me know if you have any other questions.
