Question

I am looking for balance replacements for the windows shown above. They are a flat coil spring type. Please let me know if you need additional information. Thank you.

Hey there,

Thanks for posting! Your coil balance pivot shoe can likely be replaced with the 15-180 Coil Balance Shoe. Although, to confirm that this is the correct replacement, you will need to remove the shoe and carefully compare the dimensions.

The compatible support clip is the 15-186 Coil Balance Clip used along with the 15-182 Balance Bushing.

This shoe is compatible with the Series 190 Coil Balance which is secured to the shoe using the 33-073 screw. To determine the correct spring for your balances, you'll need to remove the existing coil and look for any stamps/markings. If there aren't any, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash and divide it by the total number of coils in the window.
