Window Balance

Question

Customer brought this in to me and I've never seen anything like it.  He says the string is missing but other than that this is what he has and he needs replacements.  Any ideas?  I'm stumped

Hello,

You have an old-style type of rod balance that, unfortunately, is no longer made. We should be able to offer a replacement but we would need to see the bottom fitting and clip at the end of the pulley cord of an undamaged balance to confirm. Also, keep in mind that the balances on both sides of the window will need to be replaced. Thank you!
