The channel (metal only) is 28". The width is 9/16". I think this is a series-351, but I have no idea what weight to get. The picture labeled "stamp" shows the stamp which says "27 9 FP Caldwell". Does this help. I have attached pics.

BTW, I took the window out and it weighed 30 pounds.

Thanks for posting. This balance resembles our S390-28 channel balance. With a sash weight of 30 pounds, I also recommend our 2760 option.
