40 pound 3/8" diameter Window Balance

Hello,
i have a sash that weight 40Ib, the balance is 34", 3/8 thick the color of the tip is green, the color of the pivot lock shoe with a green cam.
looking at your website, Q&A i realize that the green tip balance, will not support this weight, am i correct? and what is the solution.
by the way i measured the balance width couple of times, and my bro also measured it and it is definitely 3/8, any ideas. and also the pivot shoe is 3/8 thickness.

Hello! The pivot shoe looks like our 15-134. Check it out and see what you think. As for your balance, it sounds like our S900-34, however 40 pounds is pretty heavy for this kind of balance. Can you confirm? I don't think we have a spring strength option for this balance that can support that kind of weight. You said your color tip is green, which is indicative of a sash weighing 14 through 26 pounds. Please double check for me, just in case.
