Window Balance 23 3 JP CALDWELL

Hello,

I'm trying to replace a window balance. I'm wondering if I should replace 1 or both balances because they are the same age and one of them has a weak spring. (If it's inexpensive, maybe I will just go ahead and get both but would appreciate any advice).

I'm not sure what kind of balance but I uploaded 4 photos. The balances say 23 3 JP Caldwell on the side. Let me know please if I should provide any other information.

Hello Molly. Based on all your photos and information you have provided to us, it appears you may be in need of our S390-24 channel balance with a 2330 option. Please take a look and let us know if this could be a good match for you.

Concerning whether you should replace one or both, we usually recommend replacing both at the same time. When one starts to go, it's usually a sign that the other isn't far behind. Worst case scenario is that you can put the old balance that still functions aside as an emergency backup option.
