Window Balance ID

Home Owner from USA

I have non tilt window with mis-matched balances, Caldwell type (One 23-3, One 23-4 They are also different end guides).

I noticed the rest of the house has BSI type.

I replaced the dual pane glass in this window because of condensation. The window is now Heavier than before, about 28lbs. So, the window only stays open a little over half way. So i assume I need a higher weight rating.

Greetings. It is hard to read the BSI spring code in the first photo. What is length of the metal channel, not including any end attachments? And what is the spring code number stamped on it? This will help us identify what you might need.

For the 24" Caldwell balances, are both of them in the same sash? As for the insulated glass having condensation in the insulated glass unit, you will need a local glass shop to replaced the failed insulated glass in the sash.

The BSI balance is from a different size window (smaller). So Not sure it would apply.

Just trying to point out that the rest are All BSI, and NOT the EXTENDED TRAVEL type.

YES, the glass has already been replaced. Hence the added weight. The 24" balance window now seems UNDER SPRUNG. Of course they are also mismatched.
Yes, the 2 pictured 24" balances are in the same window sash. The were installed BEFORE I purchased the home.

Thanks!

Thanks, Steve. That's everything we needed. I'm going to email you an order link and price quote right now for 2 of these. If you needed more, let me know here and I'll be happy to change the quantity.
