Window Balance Replacement

A handy person from Conecticut says:
I have a 30 inch long broken window balance for double hung, tilt windows. The internal string broke inside the balances. The stamp is 29HD MM BSI as shown in the picture. Can you help me identify the proper replacement balances?

Can you also help me identify a compatible pivot shoe replacement based on the included picture?

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

I would recommend removing an undamaged balance assembly from the window to compare to the 30" long S770-30. You will also need to weigh your window sash to determine which option you'll need for your replacement balances since your stamp code differs from ours. There is a chart on the balance product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.

You will also need to confirm if the dimensions of the 15-167 shown below match up to your part. Thanks for posting!
