Window Balance Weight

Hi,

I need to purchase two window balances. They are 28 inches long by 1/2 wide. I need 19-005 top and 15-005 shoe. I am having a issue figuring out what weight I need. The stamp on the side of the balance is:

27 9 36# El Caldwell

What weight do I need?

Does that mean I need 36 pounds?

It could, but it's hard to be certain. The best way to confirm is to weigh your sash on a scale to determine it's weight. If it is 36 pounds, I'd recommend our 2765 option.
