Window Balance part identifier

A home owner from Indianapolis, Indiana says:

I am in need of some new window balances. I think I have narrowed it down to your 15" 380 series. The channel measurements are 1/2" wide and 15" long. The only issue is, I don?t understand the markings on the old parts (see pics). Hopefully you can help me.

Thanks

Steve

Paul from SWISCO responded:

Hello, Steve. The stamping of "14 4" corresponds to our 1440 option which holds a sash weight range of 12-13 pounds. Does that sound about how much your sash weighs?

A quick learner from Indy says:
Yes, that sounds about right. 12 to 13lbs.
