Window Balance replacement

Question

I'm looking for a window balance that is 27 inches. I think it might be the 27" Series 380 Balance but I'm not sure what the weight is. The stamp on the old balance says 26 4 FU CMC 2.

Thanks for writing in. This looks like either the S380-27 or the S385-27. The only difference between these two channel balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. The Series 380 has a shoe with a depth of 1", while for the Series 385 the shoe is 1-3/32" deep. Compare both with your old balance to see what matches best. You will need a stamp option of 2640.
