Window Balance replacement.

A home owner from Vermont says:
Looking to replace my window balance tubes and pivot shoes.
I have 30" long tubes x 3/8" with white tips. I see you do not have white tips. What is the difference and what would i need to order for shoes to replace 24 rails in my home. I assume that i would need to order the 15-045 based on thickness but want to make sure of the balance rods will fit.

Thanks for posting. Yes, the 15-045 shoe is compatible with the Series 900; just confirm that the dimensions of your old pivot shoe indeed match up. As far as the white tip, this color option is from an older rating system that many spiral balances no longer use. To know what color option to select, obtain the exact weight of your window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each color tip option on the S900-30 product page.
