Window Balance and Shoes for Double Hung Tilt Window

Hello,

I have 5 rather large double hung tilt windows that have the balances and/or shoes failed. I do not know the make of the windows as there are no markings on the glass or frames.

Window Sash: ~52in wide, 31 pounds

Balance Marked as: 21 H BSI RR

Balance Length: 21 inches

Shoe: 2" high, 1.25" wide

Attached are pictures for identification. I am looking for replacement hardware that is heavy duty and will work well in this application.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out! The window balance you have here is the S770-21 Channel Balance. The replacements will need to be a custom assembly, given the stamp, so I'll need to provide you with a quote to place the order. The quantity minimum is (2) balances.

The shoe you have here reminds me of the 15-135 Pivot Locking Shoe. To confirm that this is the right replacement, carefully review and compare the dimensions below.
