Window Balancer

A quick learner from Florida says:
The attached photos show a damaged balancer for my single hung non-tilting window. The balancer metal length is 34 inches, the cross section is approximately 9/16 x 5/8. The window size is a 4'5"x6'0" window manufactured by Flesher Windows, which is now part of Eastern Architectural Systems. The one photo shows the only stamping on the balancer, these numbers do not seem to align to any modern part number. I believe the windows were manufactured in 2007. I would need 8 balancers for the 4 windows

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-34 or S385-34 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

I agree that your stamp is a bit out of the norm but you can weigh your sash and follow the chart under our balance product descriptions to choose the correct spring strength option for your balances.

Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
