Thank you for reaching out to us. We're happy to look into this. Can you measure and write out the depth for the top and bottom fitting? 

We would also like to see an image of the inside of the balance’s metal channel, where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism; this connection is located in the middle of the channel. Thank you!

It looks like the tape measure is bent, so I believe the depth of the bottom fitting is closer to 1-1/8", like the S390-33 with the 3250 stamp option. Take a look at the specifications and let us know if you have any questions.
