The window balance # 24-737 - is there a right and left or is it universal?
What is the major difference with all the balances, is it the spring strength?
Also are the dimensions of the unit, height, width,length, the same on all balances?

The 24-737 can work for both the left and right hand sides of your window. The major difference between these balances are, indeed, the strength of the spring. Finally, the dimensions of the Andersen sash balances we provide are all the same.
