Window Balances

Question

I have 3 tilt windows that won't stay up and the balances appear to be broken.  They appear to be channel balances.  The balances are 1 inch wide and 34 inches long.   I've attached some pictures and would like to confirm the style that I need to purchase.    Thank you,  Eric

Hi Eric,

Thanks for the additional photos. I've forwarded a link with a quote for (6) of these balances. Be sure to double check that all three windows have 34B stamp. If they do not, I'll need to know the stamps for the other balances to update the quote.

I'm not able to see all of the details of the shoe because it is still installed in the window. You'll need to remove it and compare it to the 15-194, 15-195 (closed cam on the back), and 15-195B (open cam).

The replacements will come with the 1-1/4" attached to them, the others are sold separately. Once you've compared them, if you find that you need either the 15-194 or 15-195B, you'll need to add them to the cart from the website. There is a video tutorial below with instructions on how to swap out the shoes.
