Window Balances, sash guides

A quick learner from Miramar FL says:
My my windows are 20 years old. Some of the balances' cords are broken. Some springs are frozen and many of the plastic parts are broken on the balance top, bottom and also on the window guides. I need replacements. I would need help choosing which parts are the ones needed for my windows. I do not have the manufacturer name. The balance is 1/2" wide and 29 3/4" long. The windows weight 14.2lbs and 22lbs. They have the same balances on both window sizes. The balance has a stamp(see picture) with the number 29. The number 2, BSL, MH. I also need the sash guides for the respective balaces.

Can you double check the length of the metal channel, not including the nylon fittings? If it's 30", see our S380-30 or S385-30. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best.

It doesn't make sense for windows that weigh so drastically different to use the same stamp code. For the window sash that weighs 14.2 pounds, use the stamp option of 2920. For the window that weighs 22 pounds, use a stamp option of 2930. Let me know if you have further inquiries.

A contractor from 62260 says:
I just purchased the s351 -28 Channel balance but the stop on the top of the window is broken which part number is this, its 1 inch wide and 1 1/8 long

This piece is called the top sash guide. Yours in particular appears to match our 18-204, but look it over and let me know if you agree, or if you had any other questions.
