Window Casement Part Identification

Question

Had a part fail on one of our old windows, it is the black bracket closest to the sill which I assume is the left hand operator bracket which has failed.  I cannot find any ID on the window other than MP04 is etched into it.  Have had no luck finding replacement parts so any help you can provide would be appreciated!

Thanks for reaching out to us. This looks like the slide on a casement window hinge. These unfortunately aren't sold separately, so if yours is broken it does mean you need an all new hinge assembly entirely.

The best option we can provide for you is the 36-048. This might not be exactly the same as your original hinge, but it should still work fine as long as you replace the top and bottom at the same time. Drilling new holes may be necessary, as well. The video below will show you how these can be replaced.

I know that's a bigger project than you likely had in mind, but I do believe it's your best solution.
