Window Channel Balance

Home Owner from Orlando, Florida
I need to replace my window channel balance. It measures 30" metal-to-metal. There's and engraved stamp of 2920 as noted in the photos. Please advised.

Thanks for posting. This is most likely either an S380-30 or S385-30 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two balance Series is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement. See the illustration below for reference. Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. Let me know if your balance's shoe depth seems to fall outside either option. In either case, for a stamp option choose 2920.

Thanks for responding. It is less than 1". Please see attached photo and advise which one I need. Thanks.

Gotcha, thanks for verifying! It looks like your balance uses the special 15-029 shoe, which is only 7/8" deep compared to the two options I shared above. Review the diagram below to see what I mean.

We can supply a balance to you with this shoe, but it will have to be a custom order since it's not a stock configuration. If that's something that interests you, please tell me how many balances you wanted to buy and I can email you a custom purchase link and price quote that you can use to add these special assemblies to your cart. You may then checkout as normal.

To reiterate, this would be a balance identical to our S380-30 with a 2920 stamp option, but with the bottom fitting replaced with our 7/8" deep 15-029. These will come pre-assembled and ready to install out of the box. I just need a count from you so that we can get the ball rolling. Our minimum purchase quantity for custom orders is 2.

Hi Bob, thanks for replying back. Let's do this. I will need two of the balances with the configuration as you stated.

Thanks.

Sounds good! I'll go ahead and email that over to you now.

Please let me know if you had any other questions or if you wanted to make changes to this assembly. I'm happy to assist in any way that I can.
