29-3 ID5 CMC 54 Window Channel Balance

Question

Hello!

One of the window balance for my windows is broken.

I just took a picture for the mark on the window balance.

As you can see, the mark shows "29-3 ID5 CMC 54". So, the correct window balance that I should purchase is "30" Series 385 Channel Balance", right?

Please advise. Thanks!

Thanks for posting, Sharon. You may have the Series 385 channel balance, but there actually isn't any correlation between the stamp and the Series. All the stamp tells us is how strong the spring is and the length of the metal channel. I recommend that you carefully compare the nylon attachments that come with the S385-30 (19-005 and 15-005) to your own nylon attachments to confirm that they are the same.
