Window Channel Balance

The cord on one of my channel balances broke, and the plastic at the top of another channel balance is broken. Can you tell me which balance and top I need to order based on the photos I attached? The channel is 1/2 inch wide, and the windows are non-tilt. The channel is stamped with "28 3 CALDWELL DM". Thanks!

Unfortunately, no, this isn't enough information. Whether it's a channel balance you need, or a top sash guide, we will need you to remove the parts from the window and send us photos. Can you do that? Make sure we get a photo of each part you want us to identify.

Thanks for the additional photos. Our 18-166 top sash guide may work ion your current guide's place. Look to make sure the measurements are compatible with one another. For your channel balance, our S390-29 channel balance with a 2830 option should work fine for you. Review that part as well and get back to us if you need any further assistance.

The parts worked perfectly! I have another channel balance that needs to be replaced. It looks identical to the one I replaced with the S309-29 with 2830 option, but the code stamped on it is 28 3 CALDWELL CM. The previous one had 28 3 CALDWELL BM. Is the S390-29 w/2830 option the correct replacement for this one too? Thanks!

Yes, you're right. You can go with the S390-29 channel balance with a 2830 option.
