Window Channel Balance

A home owner from Monroe, MI says:
Hi
I have 6 windows in my home that would be great with a little TLC.
I don't know brand of window but the part has a BSI 2830 and is 19 inch long.

It comes from a tilt out window. Please advise.

Looking forward to your help. Thank you Cheryl

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Hey Cheryl. I believe you meant to say the metal channel was 29" long. My initial instinct here would be to tell you to see either our S351-29 or S390-29. The only difference between these two balances is the bottom nylon shoe depth, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. You will need a stamp option of 2830.

However, you said this is for a tilt window. Can you confirm that? Because the balances I've recommended are for non-tilt windows, and certainly the fittings at either end are what you see with non-tilt channel balances.
