As we mentioned in our response to the original poster above, you'll need to weigh your window sash since the 2917 stamp on your metal channel does not correspond to any of our balance strength options. We would also need to see the fittings attached to both ends of the metal channel to narrow down your replacement options.
Sash weight is 35 lbs.
C channel length is 30 inches.i probably will need 6 balancers.
Thanks for getting back to us. It looks like you have either our S351-30, with a 15-002 bottom attachment, or S390-30, with a 15-001 bottom attachment. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need.
You'll also need either 3960 or 3965 spring strength options for your replacement balances since both will support a 25-pound sash as shown in the chart under the balance product descriptions. You'll just need to make sure to use the same option for both balances. Thank you!
