Window Channel Balance broken through cap

We should be able to assist, but we need more detailed photos. Specifically you need to remove an undamaged balance (or as close to undamaged as you can manage) and show us a clear photo of the top fitting, bottom fitting, and the hook at the end of the cord.

By cap in this case, I assume you're referring to the cracked top sash guides. These are on the upper corners of yours sash. To identify those, you need to remove the least damaged one and show us a clear picture of the front and side. Think of it like a mug shot. You'll also want to take some measurements and write them down for reference later.
