Window Channel Balances

Question

Hi, the strings in my window channel balances broke and I could use your help to identify the correct replacement part. The metal bar length measures exactly 21 inches and the only identifying IDs I could locate were "20 4 AV CMC 7" and "20 4 AV CMC 2".

Do you have the shoe below? Measure up. If so, check out the S385-21 channel balance. It matches your description and comes in a "2040" option, which is similar to the "20 4" stamped on your balance. If it's not a match, explain how your shoe differs from ours.
