Window Channel balance replacement

A home owner from California says:
Stamped on the metal is 32 4 IS Caldwell. The metal channel measures 33 inches long by ½ inch wide. What do I need to replace this?

This balance closely resembles our S395-33 at first glance. This comes with a 19-005 top and 15-001 bottom nylon fitting, so as long as those match up then you should be good to go.

A home owner from California says:
I'm replacing a Caldwell balance with your S395-33. The window sash weighs 28 lbs. What would you recommend the new window channel balance be? 3210? 3220?

The window opening is only about 11" above the floor and has no sash lift, so it is can be a little hard to raise from a closed position. This is a single-hung window.

The old channel balance top looks like this attached photo. Is that the 19-005?

Thanks.

If your sash weight is 28 pounds then I wouldn't recommend either the 3210 or 3220 option. If you look on the chart we have on the S395-33 store page, you can see that the 3240 can carry 23 through 28 pounds. YOu can go with that.

And yes, that is the 19-005 top fitting.
