Window Coil Balance

Greetings,

My window two Coil Balance are broken and I don't know what to order as a replacement. The only number i can see is a 932 on the Coil but I don't know what to order.

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. The shoe shown here appears to be the 15-180. The compatible springs are the Series 190. Can you weigh the window sash on a scale and tell us the weight? We can calculate what spring weights you'd need from there.

Thank you! You can use one S190-940 9-pound spring on each side of the window. This will total 18 pounds of overall support.

Are you looking to replace your whole coil and pivot shoe setup? If so, it appears you would need the following:

(2) 15-180 pivot shoes

(2) 15-186 coil balance clips

(2) S190-940 9-pound springs

(2) 15-182 balance bushings

You can also reuse your old screws to screw the coil spring to the side of the pivot shoe. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
