Window Coil Needed

Question

One coil on my ViWinTech window broke. The window is about 20" wide. The only markings are on the coil itself. There's a "D" stamped into the coil. The shoes and other hardware all seem to be fine. I plan to replace both coils.
Last time this happened I ordered a 8 lb Series 152 Coil Balance, but that was for a window 36" wide.

Thanks for your post! You'll need to confirm the exact weight of the window sash to determine the coil spring needed for your assembly. Unfortunately, we cannot determine the replacement by the window width because that measurement does not account for the weight of the material and the glass pane in the sash.
