Window Counter balances

A contractor from Western MA says:
I looked under nontilting counter balances but am not seeing a matching part number. By my photos is something, can you tell if you would stock this part? I am not sure the make or year of the windows. They are aluminum, channel is 9/16th wide, non ribbed.

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S351-35 or S390-35, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

I ordered the 390-35 and they seem to work. Thank you for that. Now I am looking for the top sash guides that work with that counter balance. I ordered the 18-009 and the screw hole doesn't line up. Do you have another guide that would work? I am also looking for the "foot?" that attaches to the bottom shoe of the counter balance.

Your top sash guide looks like a better match for our 18-107. See what you think.

I'm afraid that we don't have that other piece you show, unfortunately. What is its function?

A contractor from Western MA says:
The sash guides I ended up ordering were the 18-108 Alsco. Believe those are exactly the ones I need. I am not sure what the function of that piece is...possible just to block the opening on the side of the window sash?
