Window Crank Replacement

Don't know if this is from a milgard or anderson (or some other window).

I removed as much as I could have removed and provided a bunch of pictures.

Hey there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Based on what I see here, it appears you have the 39-253RB which uses the 39-529 track slider (sold separately). We also sell the 39-253LB for the opposite side. For new cover and handles, see the 39-451 and 39-452. Look over the specifications for these parts and let me know if you have any questions!

Order it, receiced it, and installed it... mostly...

39-253RB - Encore Dual Arm Operator, Sill Mount

Another two questions:

1. How do I remove the cover plate from the old mechanism to put it back on the new one that I purchased (from you :) )?

2. I managed to lose the retaining clip. Is there a special order for that (couldn't find it on the site).

In some cases, the cover is built into the base of the operator and isn't designed to be removed. They should just pop off but it sounds like this may be the case for you. With that said, I recommend the 39-452 which is compatible with the 39-253RB.

I'm not sure what you mean by the retaining clip. Could you be referring to the 39-529 track slider or the 39-545 and 39-546 brackets? Take a look and see what you think.

The retainer ring is on the pin pictured below.

I'm afraid we don't sell the metal pin studs separately. We can only offer the 39-545 and 39-546 stud brackets. I am sorry for any inconvenience!
