Window Dyad Crank

Handy Person from Newport, NH
Should have done this first. Arm labeled B looks to be too long, it hits window
frame when trying to close. Arm labeled A is longer, but that would probably only affect the amount of how far the window open, (not an issue).
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
K

Hey there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. The 39-188 looks like a better match based on the style of the gear arm. However, the overall length of the link arm is 5". If yours doesn't match this, you'd have to either try the operator as is to see if it works regardless or swap the new and old operator arm. You'd have to drill out the new and old arm and use the 62-014B rivet. To install this rivet, you'll have to hammer it in; I recommend doing it over a metal plate if you have one. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.

Yes! that gear arm looks like just what I need. The link arm is a little longer and could be changed over with swap or modified, and is good to know that you also have the rivets. I went on a search for rivets earlier and would not be able to know which ones to get without taking apart the original arm.

Super, can I return this part or exchange for new one? If all works out I will get one for the other side. I can say right now that the other side will also need the sliding linkage mechanism (slide blocks are broke).
Next step?
Thanks,
Ken

We don't offer exchanges but you can start your return by going to this page here! However, I'm not sure what you mean by the sliding linkage mechanism. If you can upload a few photos of the part in question, we'd be happy to take a look.
