Window Latch Kit

Question

I have 7 windows that need new latches (Phillips latch kit). I have zero experience with installing them. Can I install without removing windows from frame?

The local window company wants $100 per window. I'm on a fixed budget so I'm hoping I can get it done myself.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Your latch kit looks like a match to the 91-174 as long as the dimensions below match up to yours. As for removing them, we do not have hands-on experience with this particular part but it appears to be help in place with the screws shown in your photos. Once they're removed, the latch should slide out of the frame. Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
