Brand new window will not stay open , has double coil 6/7 shoe balance . is there any adjustment or will new springs fix issue?

Thanks for posting! To determine if the coils are the issue with your balances, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash. A 6lb coil and a 7lb coil can support the weight of a 26lb sash.
There is also a chance you may need to replace the coil balance pivot shoe.
