Window Operator

Hello! The gears on my window operator are stripped out and need to be replaced. Can you help me ID which window operator I have? Also, is it possible to only replace just the window operator and reuse the existing covers?

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! The window operator you have is The 39-253RB Encore Dual Arm Operator (the left handed version is the 39-253LB). These use the 39-529 Truth Hardware Track Slider, which slides in the 39-528 track.

You'll need to determine if the covers can be removed from the base of the operator. If so, you should be able to reuse them. In the event they cannot be removed, you'll need either the 39-376 (folding) or 39-452 cover and handle kit for the repair. The covers for the left handed operator are tagged below.
