On the window operator it says, "99 /04-3a" and on one of the arms "39"

Thanks for posting! The 39-264 Andersen Split Arm Crank is not an exact match for your window operator but we do believe it could work for your repairs. If the window was made between 1995 to 1998, you may need the 39-362 Andersen Casement Operator Adapter Plate.

This operator is used for both left and right handed applications. The compatible hardware for it can be found tagged below this thread.
