Window Part

A from Nebraska says:
I'm trying to help a client fix two double hung windows in her house. She has windows that you flip in to clean. There is a latch that holds the window up that has broken on two of the windows. I'd like to purchase several of these pieces to avoid this issue for the future home owner.

Hello,

Take a look at our 26-398 pivot bar and see how the dimensions compare to yours. Thanks for posting!

A from Nebraska says:
This one has an 8 on it and the one I have has a 6 on the side. Does this make a difference? What does the number indicate?

Casey from SWISCO responded:

The numbers are usually just mold or patent numbers, which do not indicate the correct replacement. I would recommend focusing on the dimensions to determine if this replacement will work for you.
