Window Parts

A quick learner from Stoughton, MA says:

Good morning,

I am looking for a part for my window that is shown in the attached photos. The part I am looking for is the angled piece that you can see in the photos. I am also wondering if there is a part that is possibly missing on the Allen wrench screw. Is there a part that should go over that screw to make it open easier?

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Looks like you need a new tilt latch. I'm not sure exactly what yours is while it's still installed, but it may be a match for our 26-095 die cast internal tilt latch. You'll have to remove the original to confirm. Let me know if they're the same or not; we can always try to find a better match.

I'm not sure if a piece is missing or not. It's difficult to imagine that the window manufacturer would force you to use an allen wrench just to tilt the sash in, so there's a good chance it is. I'm not sure what it may be, though. We unfortunately do not carry an actuator for the 26-095.
