I ordered a similar part (26-438 - Pivot Bar, 2-15/16") but it wasn't the right part - the shape was a bit different than the piece I needed. Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out! This looks like the Simonton brand pivot bar. Instead of the 26-438, I suggest the 26-336. I think you'll find this to be a closer match in both size and design.
