We'd love to help but it's tough to identify a replacement for a broken part. Can we see a picture of another pivot bar removed from the window? That would help us determine the best replacement option for you. Thank you!

Thank you for your email. However I had previously ordered and received a 26-226 pivot bar, 3-1/16 and because the end that went into the sham was smaller than the one that had broken off I assumed it would not work. However after receiving your email requesting a picture of the pivot bar removed from the window, I cleaned up the sash mechanism and installed the 26-226 and it appears of hold and the sash works. I will stop fiddling with the window and consider the issue closed. Thanks for the photos and the website, without which I would still be broke. Can't wait for the local window guy to come and give me an estimate on replacing the the window because the "window was too old and could not be repaired." Telephone trouble shooting is not a sound business practice with your website available to us amateurs.
