Our 26-155 set is similar to your current latch. I know the tip is not as pronounced as yours, but it should still work. See what you think.

I would love to hear if this replacement worked out okay. I have a broken 706-R too... has enough of a tip that it may still work, but would certainly order 26-155 if this is an acceptable replacement
