Window Safety locks

Question

We have Alpine vinyl window and many of our locks are broken.  Looking for this tiny part it is 2 3/4" long and 1/4" wide. The windows are 25 years old.

Thanks for writing in. This looks like our 26-275, but take a look and see if you agree. I should note that the 26-275 is meant for horizontal windows, not hung like what you have, but it's not unusual to come across unique hardware configurations in this business. If this lock worked for you before we don't see why it shouldn't again.
