Window Sash Balance

Question

I am having a really hard time reading the part numbers on our sash balancers. The windows are double hung and the visible glass on the bottom pane has width of ~28.5" and the height is ~15.5". I have attached a picture, but am having a very hard time making out the numbers.

It's a bit tough to tell, but I suspect part of the faded code on this balance box says 523, or 5#23. See if an identical window in the house has this code more clearly intact. If it's indeed 523 or 5#23, our 24-531 can do the job.
