Window Sash Balancer

Question

I would like to track down a replacement sash balancer. There are no markings on the window as to the window manufacturer. The balancer is stamped 32 9, and the overall length of just the channel without the end pieces is 32 5/8" long. It is a 1/2" wide balancer. I have attached photos for reference.

Hi Anthony, we can replace this balance for you, but it will have to be a custom order due to the unique length of the metal channel, as well as the fact that the cord comes out of the balance shoe itself. I need just a little more information to be able to help. Can you show us a picture of the clip at the end of the cord? Also, how many balances do you need? Bear in mind that (2) is our minimum amount for a custom order. Once we have that information we'll either have a few more questions, or get this started for you. Many thanks.
