Window Sash Pivot Bar

we need this replacement part for a Certainteed window. 103-2 is stamped on the back. Dimensions are 3 1/4 total across left to right. 1 7/8 across the small side prior to the vertical bar. 2 3/8 across the longer side after vertical bar. It is 7/8" tall at the vertical bar. it is 5/8" wide. Only 3/8" thick at the short end.

Hi there,

It looks like you have an older style CertainTeed pivot bar. You can replace it with the newer 16-275. It looks a bit different but works just the same. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

I'm surprised to hear that. You have an old Certainteed brand pivot bar that was discontinued, but Certainteed themselves designed the 26-175 specifically to replace it. I've personally used it to replace your old pivot bar dozens of times without any issue. We even have a video that covers their differences and how they can be used.

Can you go into more detail on why the 26-175 didn't work? It is our best--and only--replacement option.
