Window Shoe pivot joint missing?

Quick Learner from Hamden, Ct

Hi We recently bought a house. We knew the sashing in the window was broken but didn't know the extent to it. I have posted pictures from one window that is broken to the window that is working perfectly. I am having a hard time identifying the name of the window part in the picture that is missing the metal piece. The window that will not stay in place when opened is the window with the open hole where the metal piece should be. Do you guys know the name of that piece that is missing from one window and if so do you guys sell replacement pieces?

Thank you so much for all your help,

Kathryn

Hello,

It looks like you'll need a new pivot bar. There is a screw on the bottom of the sash that holds the pivot bar in the sash. We need you to unscrew it, remove it and take a picture with dimensions and show us. We'll also like to see the pivot shoe that the pivot bar tip fits into. Thank you!
