Hi I have two windows that do not stay open and need this part. There is also another window that just needs one. My Contractor removed this for me. I already have the two videos that instructed how to remove the part and also how to replace it.
I'm not sure if the clear part is part of the window balance, it was just with what he removed from the window.

Hey there,
Thanks for posting! You'll need the 15-087 Coil Housing Pivot and the Series 180 Coil Balance to replace your assembly. Since your housing is stamped with an 8, you can use the S180-08.
The clear bracket can be replaced with the 16-031 Mounting Bracket.

Yes, it would be encouraged to replace both sides. This will prevent the newer assembly from wearing out faster than it should.
