I recently received an order from Swisco of 2 window tilt latches, parts #s 26-391 and 26-390. Order was placed based on the patent # on the original parts, 5,139,291. The latches are both too long and too wide. Original part width is 9/16", length 2.5". Any suggestions?

Thanks for posting. I am unable to cross-reference the patent number from the part to identify your tilt latches, unfortunately. To make an accurate recommendation, I'll need to see a photo of your original hardware.

It would be best to see a photo of an undamaged latch.

Hi,

Attached are 4 pics of both the old and recently ordered tilt latch. The measurements of the old latch are 2 5/8" length and 9/16" width (measured on the underside) and 11/16" width top. The new latch measures 2 7/8" length, 5/8" width (underside) and 3/4" width (top).

Based on the measurements and photos you've provided. I recommend taking a look at our 26-243 and 26-244. I am confident these are the correct replacement latches, however, I've included the measurements so that you can compare them. Take a look and see what you think.
