Window Tilt Latch

Handy Person from Haverhill, MA

The window tilt part I need to replace is completely broken.

I can not just tap and slide it out the side. The part sits in a hole that is 2" long, has a space after the hole before the corner of the window of .5" where the stop would stick out after mounting (one hole to drill), and I would expect about .5" from the other end of the hole firthest from the corner and beyond the 2' hole would be where I would drill a 2nd hole for a surface mount tilt bracket.

So, a 3' long surface mount bracket where I can drill hole about .25" from either end of the 3" long piece.

The window width is 1.58" wide.

Hello,

Your tilt latch resembles the 26-408 pair. Review the measurements below to confirm it's a match. We also offer a video to help you through the replacement process. Thanks for posting!
