Window Weather Stripping?

Home Owner from Orlando, FL, USA
This is weather stripping from original, late 1950s panel windows. The rubber part seems like it's 3/16 by 3/16. I am assuming the "fuzzy" stuff is missing?

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we can't be certain of what kind of weatherstripping your window may have used. If there are any identical windows, you could check to see if any have an undamaged sample you can use as a reference.

With that said, we have related pile on this page with a 3/16" wide base but the pile heights differ. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think. We offer samples of up to 5 so let me know if you'd be interested.

Hi Emily

Thank you for the help. Of the 6 listed I think it would be good to try all of them except 58-197. That one looks like it can't be right. I would guess that the pile is on the shorter side.

Let me know if you need anything else from me?

Sounds good! I'll email you a link that will allow you to add a sample of the 58-001, 58-002, 58-021, 58-127, and 58-198 to your cart. You'll just have to pay for shipping.
